BEFORE YOUR SPRAY, FOLLOW THESE STEPS FOR A BEAUTIFUL LONG-LASTING TAN
- Shower & properly exfoliate your entire body concentrating on elbows, knees, feet, & hands – this will remove any dead skin cells.
- Shave or wax beforehand (if desired) – doing so after will shorten the length of your spray tan.
- On the day of your spray tan avoid lotions, perfumes, deodorants, body oils, or any skin additives – products on your skin will affect how the tan adheres & likely cause uneven results.
- Wear dark, loose-fitting clothes. Although the drying mechanism in the VersaSpa makes it safe to wear clothes immediately after, your skin needs time to dry & process. It takes 12-24 hours for your spray tan to fully develop, so tight-fitting clothing may cause smearing. The solution is water soluble & will wash off clothing & hair.

Failure to prepare as instructed may impact the quality of the tan and void this guarantee.
- Notification Requirement: If you are not satisfied with the results of your spray tan, you must contact us by the end of the following business day. We will arrange a complimentary repeat session to ensure your complete satisfaction.
- Non-Exchangeable: This guarantee applies exclusively to spray tan services and cannot be exchanged for any other services or products offered at Bare Raydiance Salon.

Do you include a PH balancing prep spray?
Yes — we believe balancing your skin's PH is essential for the most beautiful spray tan results, so we have chosen to include it with every spray tan rather than charge extra.
How do I prepare for my spray tan?
Shower, shave & exfoliate before hand. Come to appointment with clean skin; No deodorant, moisturizers, makeup, or perfumes.
I'm new at this. What do I wear? How does it work?
The process takes around 10 minutes total, with the spray lasting about 3 minutes, involving guided body movements. Our knowledgeable staff will be sure to answer all questions & demo the positions ahead of time.
Is the booth claustrophobic?
The VersaSpa booth is an "open air" booth so there are no doors to block you in.
HOW IT WORKS
How does the bronzing formula change the color of my skin?
Dihydroxyacetone, or DHA, combined with a variety of anti-aging & skin-firming ingredients, is the main compound that alters the skin color.
What type of skin type should I have to use the VersaSpa?
The VersaSpa works with all skin types, & the formula is 70% natural sugar cane derivative & gentle on sensitive skin.
Will the tan be splotchy?
No, VersaSpa's fine mist technology is designed to deliver an even, full coverage tan.

How soon will I see the results?

How long will my spray tan last?
The "life span" of a VersaSpa spray tan is typically 5-7 days if all procedures are followed.
How can I make my spray tan last longer?
Moisturize daily is the key, avoid long hot showers & heavy exfoliation, & steer clear of pools or hot tubs when possible — chlorine can fade color faster.
Can I still swim, shower, & work out with my spray tan?
Definitely! But make sure you wait at least 6-8 hours after your session!
Will the formula dye my clothes?
The formula is water soluble & will wash out.
Does my spray tan protect me in the sun?
No — since it didn't involve UV rays, it will not protect you from sun exposure.
